Future location features are intended to give anglers control over what they share. Exact hotspot sharing will not be required.

Planned: Initial events will use ACAA-approved scales, with documented accuracy and current certification where required by published rules.
Capture the weigh-in
Planned: Support the fish in a wet sling or cradle, account for tare, and record readable scale and catch evidence inside ACAA.
Reviewed results
Planned: Review catch evidence before final scoring under published eligibility and dispute rules.
Camera research
Planned: Develop and test in-app camera weight estimation for iPhone and Android against physical-scale reference weights. Research estimates will not determine official scores until validated and authorized.

How ACAA Works
ACAA is being built as a paid-member platform devoted to catfishing. The iPhone TestFlight beta offers profiles, photo posts, a community feed, likes, comments and sharing. Android is in internal testing.
The features below are planned and are not currently available across both platforms.
Your community
Planned: Private messaging with teen/adult separation, expanded catch sharing, and a member marketplace.
Know your water
Planned: Mapping with available river, depth and water-condition data, seasonal catfish context, and optional location sharing controlled by anglers.
Learn and prepare
Planned: AI-assisted catfish education, knots, rigging, boating preparation, and responsible fish handling. Guidance does not replace official safety information.
Capture and compete
Planned: An embedded ACAA camera for catch evidence and tournament generation from approved templates. Physical-scale scoring comes first while camera weight estimation is researched for iPhone and Android.
